Someone from your club should have collected the league handbooks and fixture cards but if not then please drop us an email and it will be forwarded on to Pauline.

The fixtures are currently being added to the site and I hope to have them all up by the middle of the week. Unfortunately it’s a copy and paste job from the spreadsheet which is more time consuming than it sounds.

If your club is not already on Twitter then please get yourself on there. It’s a fantastic way of posting information, especially results.

If any clubs have anything they want posting on the website then please drop me an email. If anyone would like to blog about the Tennis League then please get in touch. The same goes for suggestions. The one I know you’ll ask for is a proper online results service. This won’t be happening at least until next year.

Please remember to bring your team captain / club contact information – as much information as you can give us please. You should also bring your Brockbank / Fairlawn entries.

The Harri Davis award is for sportsmanship and the Harold Glover award is for services to tennis. If you there is someone at your club that you feel deserves either of these awards then please get in touch using the contact me button at the side of this page.

Section B saw a fierce battle between David Lloyd Speke, Campion and East Wavertree A. Speke claimed the title by 1.5 points, with Campion claiming the promotion place on events.

Blundellsands B made a late run in Section D to pip Palmerston to the top spot.

In Section E, Campion C were crowned champions with Bohemians finishing as runner up and gaining promotion.

In Section B, Palmerston C just pipped Eccleston Park to the title meaning that Palmerston will have 3 men’s teams in Section A next season.

Section C saw Cressington A run away with the title. Mersey Bowmen A obviously benefitted from having new courts by gaining the promotion spot.

Rainford A dominated Section D. They were unbeaten all season and only dropped points twice. Maghull A chased them hard but eventually had to settle for promotion.

Section E saw Liverpool Jewish claiming the title with Trinity going up in second place.

Trinity had more success in Section F by winning the title. East Wavertree gained promotion by clinching the second placing.

Campion D and Palmerston F dominated Section G with the North Liverpool club coming out on top.

Section I was decided on events with East Wavertree just pipping Trinity C to the title.

Last but by no means least in Section J the new boys Action and Carlton battled it out for the title with Action coming out on top. Carlton had to settle for promotion to Section I.
